Dzień przed integracją Leo pracował samotnie w biurze Vectoris. Późnym wieczorem kamera zarejestrowała go przy jednym ze stanowisk. Na ekranie jego laptopa widoczna była klatka filmu: Władysław Ostoja siedzący za swoim biurkiem i patrzący prosto w kamerę.

Cyfrowa postać odtwarzała twarz, głos, gesty... Ostoja był jak żywy. Ale treść nagrania była absurdalna. Ktoś nieszczególnie dociekliwy mógłby uznać nagranie za prawdziwe.

Leo przyznaje, że stworzył film, ale twierdzi robił to na potrzeby warsztatu o zagrożeniach związanych z AI. Po firmie film miał rozejść się przypadkiem.
Zapewnia też, że rzadko bywa w biurze Vectoris. Ale jego karta zarejestrowała w ostatnim miesiącu aż 23 wejścia - także późnymi wieczorami i w weekendy.
Podczas składania zeznania Leo wyraźnie oszczędza jedną nogę. Nie wspomina ani o urazie, ani o tym, kiedy do niego doszło.
PLOT EXCERPT
The day before the team-building event, Leo was working alone in the Vectoris office. Late that evening, a camera captured him at one of the workstations. A still from a moving image was visible on his laptop screen: Władysław Ostoja sitting at his desk and looking straight into the camera.
The digital figure reproduced his face, voice, gestures... Ostoja looked just like himself. But the content of the recording was absurd. Someone not inquisitive might have taken the recording as the real one.
Leo admits that he created the video, but claims he did so for a workshop on the risks associated with AI. The video apparently spread throughout the company by accident.
He also insists that he rarely visits the Vectoris office. However, his access card logged 23 entries last month - also on afternoons and weekends.
While testifying, Leo is clearly saving one leg. He doesn't mention any injury.
