Instrukcje

PLOT EXCERPT

Kasia, Marek, Andrzej, Leo and the other staff members did not tell the whole truth. Some of them did indeed take advantage of the CEO’s absence to attend to their own affairs. But lying is not automatically proof of involvement in the kidnapping. Minor offences, personal conflicts and vague testimonies created so many false leads that the police no longer knew who to focus on.

The list of people cleared of suspicion is handed over to the police. The officers remain unconvinced by the theory about the ‘digital CEO’, but they cannot ignore the verified alibis and consistent evidence.

Thanks to the work of those involved, the police can rule out false leads and focus on those whose presence during the kidnapping still cannot be ruled out. The circle of the innocent is growing. The circle of suspects is getting smaller and smaller.
